Faculty

You have been an integral part of the students’ academic career and we look forward to you being a part of this special day. Please check back as information on this day and your role will be updated periodically.

Faculty marchers and marshals are required to where regalia to participate in commencement. 

Rented regalia must be ordered by February 27 with the Campus & Community Events office. After this date, faculty will receive Babson regalia.  

Rented regalia will be picked up beginning May 6 in events office in Nichols Hall Room 118.

If you have concerns regarding regalia, please email the Campus & Community Events office.

Faculty check-in for both the Undergrad and Graduate Ceremonies will be in the Chandor Dance Studio within in Webster Athletic Center.

  • Faculty are to enter through the back door of LGRAC, which is on the Webster Parking Lot side. Check-in and line up will be in the upper balcony of the courts. 
  • For the Undergraduate Ceremony, faculty should check-in/line up by 8:45 a.m. 
  • For the Graduate Ceremony, faculty should check-in/line up by 1:45 p.m. 

Parking for Faculty and Staff – please allow extra time for parking.   

  • Pick up a special parking pass in Nichols Hall room 118 between May 1 and May 15. 
  • Parking for faculty in regalia will be available in the Lower Bryant Lot and Woodside lot on a first come first served basis. If these lots are full, please find the nearest parking lot.  

Refreshments 

  • Refreshments will be available in Webster during check-in. There will be a lunch buffet for volunteers, marshals, and faculty marchers located in the BECC in Sorenson Commons.
