Volunteer Opportunities

Join alumni with a shared interest around identity, student club or organization, athletic program, scholarship, and more to help plan social and educational events, celebrate milestones, and support with fundraising initiatives.

Review student and alumni applications for the B.E.T.A. (Babson Entrepreneurial Thought & Action®) Challenge, Babson’s annual venture competition that recognizes major milestones alumni and student businesses have achieved by taking action.

Represent your fellow alumni and serve as a liaison between the alumni body and the Office of Alumni Engagement and Annual Giving working collaboratively to engage alumni in meaningful ways. Board members serve a one to three year term.

Host one or two Babson Board Fellows (MBA students/alumni) on your nonprofit board for an academic year.

Advise, support, and offer expertise to WIN Lab® participants through stakeholder roles such as Content Presenter, Coach, Mastermind Expert, Entrepreneur in Residence, Board Member, or Program Sponsor.

Help alumni and student entrepreneurs tackle specific business challenges or develop strategies to grow their businesses by providing virtual or in-person consultations through Babson Alumni Supporting Entrepreneurs.

Help facilitate connections by industry among undergraduate and graduate students, our most requested and popular activity.

Share your family entrepreneurship story to help enhance The Bertarelli Institute’s research, or be interviewed for other family entrepreneurship initiatives.

Provide advice and guidance to help students and alumni launch and grow their entrepreneurial ventures by exploring opportunities to serve as a speaker for How 2 Tuesdays, Launch Pad coach, mentor, volunteer for office hours, and more.

Provide career help to students by participating in industry spotlight programs, workshops, mock interviews, and additional opportunities in which you share your industry expertise. Or discover and develop talent for your organization by participating in career and internship fairs or engaging student consulting teams.

Keep your classmates informed, engaged, and inspired to give back throughout the year by serving as the bridge between your class and Babson.

Enhance an undergraduate finance student’s personal network, help to develop their career path, and provide career advice, guidance, and feedback.

Stay connected with the Cutler Center and Babson’s finance students by volunteering for speaking engagements, recruiting opportunities, or serving as a corporate site visit hosts.

Help full-time MBA students construct their individual professional development plan, explore career options, and put their drafted development plans to the test with your expert insight and feedback.

Connect with alumni, parents, and students by sponsoring or hosting an event in your local area.

Connect with current students who came from a family business background in an industry or geographic region that resonates with your experience. Share your insights about navigating family entrepreneurship challenges.

Educate students about the value of developmental relationships and provide experience in building a personal board of coaches, sponsors, and mentors.

Host a group of undergraduate or graduate students onsite at your company for a 12-week consulting project.

Team up with fellow alumni to plan networking events, panel presentations, and other activities that bring together Babson alumni, parents, and friends in your local area.

Help plan a memorable class party for you and your classmates. Inspire them to return to campus every five years and make a class-impactful gift to celebrate your reunion.
