Caroline Owens, CPA, is a Visiting Assistant Professor of Practice in the Accounting and Law Division at Babson College, where she currently teaches Introduction to Financial Accounting. Before joining Babson full-time, Caroline worked at Bain Capital, focusing on financial reporting for private credit investment funds. She also has experience in public accounting at EY, where she audited clients in the biotech sector. Caroline holds a Master's in Accounting from UNC Chapel Hill, is a licensed CPA, and serves on the AICPA Student Recruitment Committee. As a Class of 2021 Babson alumna, Caroline can resonate with how stressful and rewarding the Babson experience is, especially during freshman year. There is a place for everyone in Caroline's class, including those who both love and hate accounting.
