First-Generation Student Success Staff

The Office of First-Generation Student Success at Babson College serves the first-generation community as they navigate their college and professional careers.

We are here to identify opportunities and , manage / create resources that help first-generation students excel. We additionally seek to educate the larger Babson community to uplift and assist the first-generation students through strategic initiatives and thoughtful practices. We want to ensure students feel empowered, supported, and accomplished during their time at Babson.

Apply to be a First-Gen Fellow!

First-Gen Fellows are volunteers within the Office of First-Generation Student Success. These are folks in their early years at Babson or just want to engage more in the first-gen community. Fellows will be paired with OFGSS staff or interns to support academic, social, or professional, or other programming and resource building. 

There is no minimum or max amount of hours a Fellow can serve, nor a set schedule. Fellows will be asked to assist as needed. Fellows will also have higher consideration for future intern hiring processes.
