Ralph Faber is an experienced technology entrepreneur, manager, mentor and advisor. Mr. Faber started his career in Germany where he held leadership roles in various high-tech companies. Mr. Faber moved to the United States in the late 1990's to pursue an entrepreneurial opportunity. His company NetOptix Corporation (OPTX) was sold to Corning Inc. where Mr. Faber became a Vice-President. Most recently, he managed an energy company (Fourth Power), a spin-out venture from MIT.
Mr. Faber holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Mannheim in Germany, an MBA from MIT-Sloan and is currently pursuing a PhD in Management at Bentley University. He is an active mentor and advisor at MIT Venture Mentoring Service, MIT Sandbox, and Greentown Labs.
