Meet the Peers On Wellness (POW) for 2025/2026.

Alejandro Picazo-Carlos

Hi! My name is Alejandro but my friends call me Alex and I use he/him pronouns. I am a second year student and I’m from Dallas, Texas. I enjoy listening to and playing music, working out, and watching movies. I joined POW because I wanted to learn more about health and wellness but also because I wanted to teach others through some of the experiences I’ve had.

Hi! My name is Alex Friedman (He/Him), I’m currently a senior and second year POW. I’m from Newton Massachusetts which is right next to Babson. I’m also a member of the Club Baseball team here on campus. I joined POW to be more involved on campus and help teach my peers about mental and physical well-being. In my free time you will probably see me at the gym, watching sports, playing sports, or hanging out with friends.

Hi, I’m Alexy Berson (he/him), and I’m a member of the Class of 2026. I joined POW because I loved the POW Presentations I had during my first-year orientation, and I wanted to be someone to give those presentations! In terms of what I do for wellness, I work out & play many sports recreationally (basketball, ultimate frisbee, flag football). I’m also the beatboxer of Babson’s a cappella group: the Rocket Pitches!

Hi! My name is Ann Butler (she/her/hers) and I am from Denver, Colorado. I am the President of Babson Sustainability Club, the Vice President of Finance for the Babson Marketing Society, and I am currently a member of Chi Omega. This involvement also includes the Chi Omega and Panhellenic Council’s Wellness chair. I can often be found at the ceramics studio either teaching classes or working on projects. I want to make Babson a happy community through my work on campus and I hope to inspire my peers to take action.

Camden Blum

Hello! My name is Camden Blum and I’m from Central Mass. I’m the founder of The Simple Emotions, a mental health brand that is based on my personal story and helps destroy the stigma around mental health through education and storytelling. I am also a member of the Natalie Taylor Scholar program to continue my passion for social impact and hopefully make even more strides in destroying the stigma of mental health!  I hope to make Babson a more open and compassionate community and inspire others to share their stories through POW!

 Hi! My name is Charleigh Newman. I am currently a sophomore at Babson College, and I am from Woodbury, Connecticut. Additionally, I am a member of the Babson Women’s Lacrosse team. I joined POW so that I could be an active member of my community and help educate and empower my peers about wellness in their own lives.

Hi! My name is Chloe Zhang, a rising sophomore with pronouns She/Her. I joined POW because I deeply align with the values that POW promotes, a resource that students can fall back on. You will probably see me in the foundry, library, or gym at school (I love to do many things!) As a POW, I want to help students feel safe, welcomed, and comfortable.

Hi my name is Kamakshi Agarwal! My pronouns are she/her and I’m a junior at Babson College. I joined POW mainly because I’m keen on promoting mental health and wellness. As they say ‘Sound mind in a sound body’. One tip that I could give you is to journal! Writing about stuff that you cannot talk about to anyone definitely lifts the weight off your shoulders.

Hi guys my name is Keisha Lewis and I am a sophomore at Babson college. I joined POW because I’m an advocate about wellness and wanting everyone to be informed to the best of their ability to make good decisions moving forward. On my free time, I enjoy going out and trying new things, such as restaurants and I also travel frequently. Excited to start!

Hi! My name is Kirsten Lytle, I use the she/hers pronouns. I am from New Jersey and am currently a junior at Babson! I joined POW to meet people and to spread a lot of my wellness values to others in our community. One of my favorite wellness activities is hot yoga!

Hi, my name is Lauren Harper. My hometown is Norfolk, MA, and I am a sophomore. I joined POW because I wanted to make people feel welcomed and comfortable here at Babson, the same way the POW community made freshman me feel when I first arrived. I love working and keeping busy, going to the gym,  Boston, and thrifting! I am so excited to give back to the Babson community through POW!

I joined POW because I wanted to give back to the community in a unique way, and our four pillars are all topics I care about deeply. I employ wellness in my own life through attending workout classes, practicing self care, and prioritizing my passions!

Hi! I’m Naisha, class of 2027, and I use she/her pronouns. I am a POW because this role allows me to be a valuable resource to the student body. I know how intimidating the first year of college can feel, especially as an international student. As a POW, I hope I can help all students feel welcome, appreciated and heard.

Hi!! My name is Marta Gershanok, I’m an incoming sophomore, and I’m from New Jersey. On campus, I’m on the Women’s Swim Team, the Community Manager of Women Giving Back, and the Executive Editor for the Viridian! I joined POW to be more involved in spreading wellness and positivity on campus. Some of my hobbies include working out, traveling, playing the piano, and reading. My favorite wellness activity is any type of arts & crafts!

Hey! I'm Palak, a senior from Bangalore, India. I use she/her pronouns. I joined Peers on Wellness (POW) to become a supportive resource for my peers and an engaged member of the community. Hi! My name is Sarah Harper. I am a senior and I use she/her/hers pronouns. My home is in Norfolk, MA. I am on the Babson Women’s Club Soccer Team because I love being active. I joined POW not only to meet a fun, close-knit group of people but also to learn more about health and wellness outside of just fitness. I wanted to give back to the community in a way, and I think this organization is an incredible opportunity to do so!

Hello! My name is Sienna Totah, and my pronouns are she/her. I'm originally from San Diego, California, but I've also spent many years in Dallas, Texas! I’m currently a junior at Babson College and member of the Chi Omega sorority. I joined POW to improve the well-being of my peers and to ensure everyone knows about all the amazing support available on campus. I’m passionate about philanthropy, marketing, working out, and trying new foods. One of my favorite wellness activities is doing Pilates at Btone in Wellesley!
